“Emotion in the Ocean” the book is written to help young children understand and express their emotions. In the story, the octopus character ‘Ollie’ initially doesn’t like how his emotions show. (An octopus actually can change colors according to it’s moods). However, through Ollie’s experiences he is able to learn how his emotions actually help him. The book includes fun facts about octopuses and tips for parents/caregivers to help children manage and express their feelings appropriately. It also includes a white coloring page where children can color their own emotions onto the Ollie character. If desired a white plush toy ‘Ollie’ can also be purchased.
